Section 7. Local Fiscal Responsibility — Granbury ISD Bonds (Weight: 15%)
24. The $394 million bond proposal in May 2022 was a fiscally responsible plan that should have passed.
25. The $151.7 million bond in November 2023 was justified despite its cost.
26. The $161.5 million bond in May 2024 would have been a good long-term investment by taxpayers for Granbury ISD.
27. Minimizing property taxes and limiting district debt should take priority over new school construction or large facility upgrades.
